In the year 3050, humanity discovered that the ocean was not, in fact, a great big toilet bowl.
The discovery was made by a team of scientists who, after years of studying the ocean's depths, realized that the strange noises were not just dolphins playing music, but actually the echoes of an ancient civilization trying to get to the other side.
Lead by the fearless Dr. Ablutions, the team set out to explore the unknown. They built the first-ever submersible vessel, the Depth Charge 1, and set off into the unknown.
What they found was a world unlike anything they had ever seen. Towering cities, made of coral and shells, stretched towards the surface. The team soon realized that they were not alone, as they encountered the Benthic Beasts, a species of giant squids with a taste for adventure.
