Contestants must wear ballet shoes with an insole length of exactly 8.5 inches. Failure to do so shall result in automatic disqualification. Read more about sneaker sizing here.
Only the following dance moves are accepted:
Contestants must tie their own laces. Any form of sneaker assistance (e.g., velcro or elastic laces) shall be strictly prohibited. Read more about sneaker lacing here.
Contestants must wear a pair of shoes that can withstand a 5-second, 10-foot drop test. Any contestant whose shoes do not pass this test shall be automatically disqualified. View the full test protocol here.
Our esteemed judges reserve the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason, or no reason at all. Their decisions are final, and any attempts to appeal shall be met with stern silence.
