Sonnet 3: "Ode to the Inflatable Space Suit"

When in the void, my spacesuit's bright flame
doth pierce the darkness like a beacon's call.
I don the suit, a hero of the deep spacewalk
where stars and planets spin in endless sleep.
The universe, in all its mystery, awaits my gaze
like a cosmic, cosmic, cosmic craze.
And I, with suit aflame, am not afraid, for in the void
I am the master of my own, my own.
So let the universe, in all its might, shout with joy
as I, with suit aglow, take to the toy.
