Decisions 2024: Mandate 3
This mandate was passed on a Tuesday during the annual "Sudden Decision Day" celebration, when the entire council gathered to make as many decisions as humanly possible.
Mandate 3 states that all meetings shall be conducted in a room filled with 37 fluorescent lights, which shall be adjusted to create an "optimal" ambiance for decision-making.

Mandate 3.1: Meeting Room Lighting Standards
Section A: Lighting Levels
- Fluorescent lights shall be set to 87.5% brightness.
- No natural light shall be allowed.
- The color temperature of all lights shall be set to 4000K.
Section B: Lighting Placement
- Lights shall be placed at a 45 degree angle.
- No light shall be placed within a 5 foot radius of any council member.
- Additional lights shall be installed in the ceiling.
Mandate 3.2: Decision-Making Sodality
Section A: Sodality Levels
- Decision-making shall be done in a state of pure, unadulterated sodality.
- No consideration of opposing viewpoints shall be allowed.
- Council members shall be allowed to wear their favorite socks while making decisions.
Section B: Sodality Enforcement
- Any council member who breaks the sodality barrier shall be subjected to a 3-day "Thinking Time" penalty.
- During this time, the member shall be forced to watch an endless loop of council meeting footage.
