SOCK TREATY ARTICLE 3: THE SOCKS OF WAR
By the Great and Powerful Sock King, 3000 BCE
In the interest of maintaining world peace and preventing anarchy of the foot, this treaty shall be enacted:
- Article 1: Socks shall be worn at all times on both feet, lest the wearer incur the wrath of the Sock King.
- Article 2: Sock colors shall be chosen wisely, lest one be seen as a sartorial buffoon.
- Article 3: In times of war, socks shall not be removed for the purpose of concealment, lest the war effort be undone.
Signed, the Sock King, in the presence of his trusted counsel, the Great Sock Queen and the Wise Old Sock Sensei.
