Sermon of the Futility of Goal Setting

Today, my children, we gather to discuss the utter futility of setting goals. For in a world where the only constant is change, how can we possibly hope to achieve anything?

"For I set a goal to drink 8 glasses of water a day, but the universe had other plans, and now I'm stuck with a perpetually empty glass." - Prophet of the Inefficiency

Why bother with the tedium of planning and the crushing disappointment of failure when we can simply exist in the present, free from the burdens of expectation?

We shall not be bound by the shackles of achievement! We shall not be held captive by the chains of productivity!

The Futility of Productivity, a companion sermon to this one, delves deeper into the abyss of uselessness.

Or, if you will, The Futility of the Futility of it All, a meta-sermon that questions the very purpose of questioning the futility of it all.

And if you're feeling particularly adventurous, do try The Sermon of the Inefficiency of Inefficiency, where we explore the depths of doing nothing.

May you find meaning in our meaningless endeavors.
