The Seven Principles of Neo-Brutalism

1. Rejection of ornamentation - We believe that less is more, but less is also less.

2. Emphasis on structure - Our buildings will never be pretty, but they will be honest.

3. Use of raw materials - We don't believe in hiding the imperfections of our materials. We like to show them off.

4. Rejection of decoration as an expression of culture - We don't do frills.

5. The use of light and shadow - We love a good harsh light.

6. The elimination of ornamentation in all its forms - Because who needs comfort, really?

7. The use of raw, unadulterated truth - Our buildings will never be sugarcoated.

And the eighth and final principle: The acceptance of criticism - Because we're not perfect, but we're not trying to be.
