Led by the enigmatic "Sock King," the Sockulars employed a unique blend of cute faces and menacing tactics to bring the world to its knees. Their most famous exploit involved hijacking the world's supply of Sock-Puppet Arms and using them to hold the world's leaders hostage.
The Sockulars' reign of terror lasted for 17 days, until they were eventually defeated by an elite team of Sock Puppet Anti-Insurgency Unit (SPAIU) agents.
The aftermath of the Sockulars' rebellion saw the establishment of the Sock Puppet Peace Treaty, which strictly regulated the use of sock puppets for military purposes.
