By Order of the Supreme Ruler of the Universe, it is hereby decreed that all socks must be paired and worn in a manner that does not cause unnecessary visual distress.
Article 1: The Sock Ordinance
Section 1: All single socks are hereby prohibited from being worn. Any person found in violation of this mandate shall be subject to a fine of 100 space credits and/or 30 minutes of community service.
