Constructive Criticisms and Sugar-Coated Insults

Where every comment is a subtle dig and every suggestion is a thinly veiled attack.

Say something meaningless to get the conversation started Accuse of being biased, but not actually read the article Use their own logic against them Claim you only see what you want to see Dismiss their opinion as irrational
Say you agree, but secretly don't Offer a solution that's actually worse than their problem Ask for confirmation, but already know the answer Suddenly change the subject to something completely irrelevant Pretend to agree just to get them to shut up
Accuse them of being a yes person Say they need to think more Offer to help but actually mean to hinder Ask for a list of ideas, but only give ones you already like Suggest they should read more
Say you are the expert, but actually are not Accuse them of being inflexible, but you are the one being inflexible Say they are the one being inflexible, but actually are you Suggest they should be more open-minded, but actually mean to be less open-minded Claim to be a friend, but secretly enjoy their woes
Say you are a neutral third party, but secretly take a side Suggest they should listen to others, but only when it suits you Accuse them of being too politically correct, but only to get under their skin Offer solutions, but only to make them feel bad Pretend to agree, but only to get them to shut up again
Say they should try to understand, but actually mean try to convince Accuse them of being too skeptical, but only because you are the one being skeptical Offer to compromise, but only to get what you want Ask for feedback, but only to prove a point Say you are just trying to help, but actually are only trying to help yourself

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
